Silvan Australia has launched a new podcast channel that will examine some of the issues that impact all types of farmers, from hobby, horticulture to broadacre cropping.
Silvan Australia’s Marketing Specialist Kellie Smith has been working on this new communication channel and hopes to build a large following for this new digital platform.
“Our plan is to provide regular updates via the Podcast providing a general overview of products, trends, industry issues, with equipment and machinery product reviews and technical and applications information, dealer profiles, as well as seasonal trends”.

David will talk about ‘Nozzle Selection, Maintenance and Calibration’ with reference to application requirements and the failure to correctly select, maintain or calibrate spray boom nozzles being a costly failure that almost always leads to over application of spray materials with a definite excess dollar cost to the grower.
“This is an area that is overlooked because spray applications tend to become standard over time because ‘we have always sprayed this way’ and in consequence can be excessively costly.”
Ms Smith says the role of the Silvan Australia Podcast channel is to be informative and provide access to experts in the industry.
